Botika Candles Fundraising- FAQ
What is my profit?
Your organization ALWAYS receives at least 50% of the gross sales and our Sales Incentive. For EVERY 12 candles each individual sells, they earn a free 8 ounce candle for themselves.
Is there a minimum order?
No, we help non-profit organizations large and small.
Do we need to pay in advance of receiving our product?
Our policy is to collect for the sale at the time of delivery and we ship orders C.O.D. through UPS. We accept payments by cashiers check, money order, or credit card (Visa and MasterCard only). We are sorry; however, we cannot accept personal checks on orders. A copy of the invoice can be faxed in advance of the shipment. If your school or organization requires payment with a purchase order - please make arrangements with our Accounts Receivable Department.
Who pays for shipping charges?
Botika Candles pays shipping for all orders that are 250 candles or more; up to $50 freight charge on Continental US orders less than 250 candles and never more.
How much do the candles cost?
14-ounce glass candles sell for $16.00 and are packaged in a old fashion glass container and natural gift box. 8-ounce wickless sells for $12.00, is packaged in an attractive glass container with a lid and a white gift box and is made to be used with a candle warmer. 8-ounce keepsake tin candles sell for $11.00 and are packaged in a keepsake tin.
How long should we run a sale?
We suggest at least 2 weeks; however, it is up to you. Generally a week does not seem to be enough time to start and finish a fundraiser, but we leave that option to you.
Do you guarantee your products?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves in creating quality products and we guarantee our craftsmanship 100%!
What are private label candles?
Private label candles are personalized candles that we design exclusively for your organization. Production time will take a few extra weeks; there is a set-up charge for the cost of printing the labels, and a minimum order of 150 candles. Do I have to pay sales tax?
Groups outside of Texas do not to pay sales tax. If you are in Texas, as long as you send us a copy of your tax exempt certificate, you will not be charged sales tax. Please fax your tax exempt certificate to 806-687-1406. Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification (PDF)
How long after we turn in our orders before we receive the products?
After we receive the orders, the candles are shipped in approximately 2-3 weeks. Call us for a UPS tracking number for your order. If orders are presorted, there may an additional 1 week added.
