Botika Candle Burning Tips
To completely enjoy your Botika Candle the fullest potential, please follow these safety and burning guidelines.
- Never leave a lit candle unattended.
- Keep candles, lighters, and matches out of reach of children. Removed all flammable materials away from the candle container. Keep candle free of wick trimmings, matches, or any material.
- Always trim wicks to ¼ inch. Wick length is important for your candle to burn evenly. If you trim the wick too short the candle could extinguish itself. If you leave the wick too long a large flame will occur.
- Do not burn your candle in a drafty area. Drafts will cause your candle to burn unevenly.
- Allow the candle to burn long enough so its melted wax almost reaches the edge of the container. Once the melted wax pool reaches the edge of the candle container, blow it out and let the candle set up. Before relighting be sure to trim the wick to ¼ inch. Never burn candle for more than four hours at a time.
- Tin Candles - Handle with care. Container may become very hot after lit. Place tin candle on top of tin on a heat resistant surface before lighting candle. Burn candle to ¼ inch of the bottom of the container, then discard.
- Glass Candles - Handle with care. Container may become very hot after lit. Place your candle on top of a heat resistant surface away from any combustible item. Burn candle to ¼ inch of the bottom of the container, then discard.
